What "Murmur" lacks in melody, it more than makes up for in unique guitar lines and quirky chord and tempo changes. Despite the annoying muddy production, which I’m pretty certain was intentional and something these old ears don’t really understand, this is one good listen. As the CD progresses the songs seem to get better too. Favorite tracks are “Talk About The Passion”, “Shaking Through” and “We Walk” but several others are growing on me. Stick with it, because it takes a while to sink in. A success? Definitely. A Masterpiece? Maybe.

Love "Talk About the Passion".

Many high school and college memories flash in my head with an REM soundtrack.
