A MINT 2nd state is way over the prices of this chart.
So any of the above categories would be a total steal.
I got a mono with the shrink still on and a $1.98 price tag for $450.00,
but that was 10 years ago.

Yeah those prices are all way low for a mint 2nd state butcher. Plus it is not specified if we are talking about mono or stereo. Stereo butchers are much rarer than mono, I think it was 5 monos for every 1 stereo?? For a NM stereo cover I would say more like $1500, and for a NM mono...about $700. Not that I would complain paying the prices ilisted n the poll Very Happy

I totally agree. I paid above $299 for my two 2nd states and was happy what I paid. One even includes the original letter from Capitol records.

Just like I buy ALL my records.....even mutidisc compilations..$1.00 per platter.....yep....thats it. Now IF there was one under 300.00 I would have to gnash my teeth and give in.

None of those amounts. I bought mine for a buck at a garage sale back in the 80s...
but it wasn't mint and it was an original.
