Hey Friends,

Do any of you operate one? I am thinking of opening one of the basic stores and trying to sell mainly records and music memorabilia. Because I work full time and go to school full time, this will be strictly as a hobby and for extra income, which I really need right now.

Is it worth my time? How much do you sell, and what do you sell? I'm thinking it will be hard to list a ton of $1 records, so I figured everything would be at least a $5 record or item.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks Friends!

Lessa

i don't know of any by name off hand, but i know there are several different software products available which allow you to post many many items without having to use the ebay interface to do it one at a time.
ie, you enter your generic info about shipping, returns, etc, and then fill out a spreadsheet with info on the items you're currently going to list. filling out a column for "12" LP" all at once instead of doing that 200 times, one at a time, for example.
then you upload through the software, which has your ebay login info.

this is how most of the power sellers/ebay stores have hundreds/thousands of items for sale that go up all at once.

i'm guessing there are free versions or less-full-featured versions available.

Nice shop Karlsoffsidekick!

Is it easy to maintain? How many hours per week do you put into it?

Turn a profit?

Thanks Friend!

Again, nice shop there Karlsoffsidekick. I love the crazy pricing scheme. I kept thinking items had bids on them already due to the odd prices.

Good luck to you, sir.

Believe it or not there is a very specific method to my pricing madness which I won't get into details
on other than to say the price of each 'store' item decreases by a certain percentage each month.
