Hi there,

I just wanted to know if anyone knows about the BluesonBlues label. I have Jimmy Reed's "Let the bossman speak", BOB10001, no cover and the label is white. Those I've seen earlier bear the sign of a quarter note, I think. I bought it in the eighties rather cheap. Does anyone know the history of this label? Does my record have any value?
Cheers, Mayerman

Al Smith (Jimmy Reed's then manager) started the label in 1971. see http://www.wirz.de/music/bobfrm.htm

I'll leave it to someone else to determine value.
