I just picked up two lps:

Louis Armstrong and Earl Hines Volume 3 Columbia CL 853 six eye logo original mono

Billy Eckstine Billy's Best Mercury MG 20333 original mono

Does anyone know the issue dates for these? Thank you in advance.

I just picked up two lps:

Louis Armstrong and Earl Hines Volume 3 Columbia CL 853 six eye logo original mono

Billy Eckstine Billy's Best Mercury MG 20333 original mono

Do you know the issue dates for these? Thank you in advance.

This is a 1956 re-issue of ML4385, released in 1951.

This one is a 1956 release.

The Armstrong was released in 1956 (I believe the performances are from 1928) & the Eckstine was released in 1958.

I must revise my earlier statement and concur with bubba lou. The Eckstine LP was indeed released in 1958. I apologize for my error.
