RIP Lou Reed.

Nice looking single!

I've been spinning tons of 45s lately. Most of it early Rock N Roll, Soul, R&B, Garage and Psych from the late 50s and early 60s. Quite a few are WLP radio station stock and all are from about 2,000 45s in a large collection I bought mid September.

I'm planning to snap some label photos and post them on the forums... but I gotta say Jerry (Wurlitzer) is a tough act to follow. Smile

Taj Mahal - Taj Mahal (Wasn't expecting to find this at a thrift store. Not in the best of shape but the music is so vibrant that the surface noise doesn't kill it very much)
Sly & the Family Stone - Greatest Hits
Ike & Tina Turner - Workin' Together
Brotherhood of Man - United We Stand (First song just started playing and I think I regret the purchase already, lol)
Mitch Ryder - All Hits!
Boney M - Take the Heat off Me

PS mods, since this new version of the thread was accidentally (?) created, can we please lock the other one? I and it seems like most others have had nothing but troubles trying to open the other one anyway (you click on the last page and it won't load, and other random crap). I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be put to rest and continued on here.

Good suggestion, it's done. Dunno why that thread was so difficult to open, but it's been put to rest.

Not exactly on the turntable... but I'm listening to my radio show on the air right now. My 89 year old Father In Law is visiting from NJ and he's listening as well. He was really digging The Kinks "I'm Not Like Everybody Else." Smile
