this is a great cover, it may be the only artie shaw record that sells for any amount of money

      Thanks for the information, as well as for the link. It seems that there's series of E.P.s under the title of "Music for the Girl Friend" containing George Petty paintings, really cool.

      I forgot to mention, that I also have a 12" mono LP (reissue) on the Ace of Hearts label (UK) with the same picture, of course bigger sized! (currently spinnin' on my turntable)

        'did someone say "A Party?" - Artie Shaw and his orchestra (AH.104, probably 1960)
