i've had a dirty label copy of this for 40 years so i was excited to finally find a bright white label copy of this it. i love this recording.

GREAT 45. I have the other Bocaldun pressing that followed the original pressing on Thunder. Both sides are great. FWIW… A few years back I called a Hugh Bowers in El Paso, a prof at UTEP, who is NOT the Bowers on this disc.

I love the uptempo flip as well… just so goooood.

Or maybe I called the Lawrence Johnson who sang lead on Midnight.

I would LOVE to find out what Bocaldun 1003/1004 is and find out who ran the label. I have 1005/1006 by the Johnny Trujillo and the Knightsmen which bears an Odessa address.
