I recently picked up a self titled album by The Black Country Three on Transatlantic. Its a very good example of 60s traditional English folk. Its not on Discogs and the little thats up on the web about it would suggest that its quite rare.Would anyone have any further info on possible value?

Last couple went for 20 - 25 but a few years ago it was getting around the 50 mark. Probably as the 1960 folk fans pop our socks the demand fall as the supply increases.

I think I know but what does "pop our socks" mean? nations divided by a common language, you know...

Depart our mortal coil. Beatles and Elvis records are probably the best example, prices have gone down for the run of the mill stuff as that ( MY ) generation dies off, the target market is diminishing and the supply increasing as their stuff is thrown on ebay by the family. Mint rare stuff will always have a premium, but trends change. Jimboo's prediction for big prices, 80's private presses, grunge and dance .

Lots of good stuff on the Transatlantic label, they also had a subsidiary, XTRA, again lots of good stuff.
