2014 is being a great year for record finds for me so far. I just hope this continues! Two weeks ago I went to a thrift store that I go to occasionally. Very rarely find any records and if I do they are always TUC but this time I saw a small stack of LPs in the book room that I hadn't seen before. More TUC but one record had a really cool cover so I thought I'd give it a new home since it was only one dollar. Turns out it is a pretty rare folk/psyche private pressing from 1973!

Wilcox - Sullivan - Wilcox - An Album Of Original Music - Goldust Records LPS 163

Sales in the past four years have ranged from $200 - $600 with the most recent one being sold for $417 a couple of months ago. Here's a link to the last sale:

Nice find! I would've certainly grabbed that one just based on cover art. Smile

Congrats. I know a lot of folks rate this one very highly, but I've always found it a tough listen.

Without knowing the age I would have thought it was released in the last couple of years. The cover definitely has that modern indie rock vibe.

That's what I thought. Hmmmm.

Although I like it's 70's spacey earthyness, I would flip that, and buy the CD. To each his/her own.
I am certain there is no buyers remorse.
