Hello. I found a record "Tight But Loose" with a "Creative Artistry" label, tm 1698--no cover but a cheap flyer saying "Led Zeppelin '71" with song titles listed that have nothing to do with the label listings--whats the story behind this press? thanks

Is it live ? Sounds like a bootleg.

The label on a bootleg record doesn't always correspond to what's in the grooves. They usually used whatever labels were lying around at the pressing plant. This served three purposes....

1. No need to pay for label printing.

2. Centre hole stretches when a record is pressed without labels so labels are mandatory for hassle-free pressing and even better when they're free.

3. Unrelated labels on the records throw the authorities off when doing a bootleg bust. "Ma and Pa Smith Singing By The Campfire with Their Family and Friends" is not going to attract as much attention as "Led Zeppelin - Previously Unreleased Masters".
