::: The Moneymaker Green Apple Machine works again. Shocked

The Mono Box. $330 USD...I guess these time Ringo's gonna divorce and he needs the cash or what? It was a release that the world was aware that it'll be out anytime soon?

Is it a surprise? Who Listen to Mono-Versions of Beatles songs? That's why I'm asking:

This is a Die Hard Fans Only? or for a regular Vinyl Record Collector?

Not so long ago the black Box Set with Remastered LPs was released along a CD box set (both mono and stereo versions).

A proper remaster work was done using again the master tapes, the vinyl Lps were pressed all in Germany. AS far as I recall the black box set were pressed both USA and GER. Even the Sleeves were printed there.

I wonder how they can take off the vaults again such a valuable tapes again and again; do the Louvre Museum scans the 'Mona Lisa' over and over to print some calendar to sell to the tourists? I'm sure not...Confused

Are you gonna buy it guys?

I already have my copy ordered from the local record store. Not that I need any more Beatles LPs but I bought the stereo box when it came out and now I'll get the mono box as a companion. I still prefer the Japanese Blue Box that I bought in the early 80s for sound quality.

I lose interest when the price rises above $20 per disc. They'll sell plenty though. Mono is the way to listen to the Beatles.

With the exception of Sgt Pepper I always prefer the Beatles in mono.

I like the Beatles' mono recordings. I already have all the original releases in both mono & stereo. I may get an up grade or two, but won't be getting the entire box set. I did get the vinyl stereo set.

I already have all their original UK and US mono releases. The box is 288.00 & shipping to the US for the British release so I'm not dipping in for that one anytime soon. There's just other things I'd rather get for that much cash.
