My cat (now banished from within fifty feet of any of my records) sprayed a spot on my collection that is currently in my garage/man cave being sorted. It was a small spot affecting twenty records or so in the G section. Most are easily replaceable or expendable like ABACAB; Gowan; Godley & Creme but there are a few Iíll miss.

A few others narrowly missed being tainted thanks to already having been placed in plastic sleeves, like some Rory Gallagher; most of my Green Day; and some German press Golden Earring (other than that pictured below).

Here are the ones I am going to miss:

Any way to salvage those,I would keep the records at least and look for covers.

Back in about 1979, my (ex) wife's cat had a dump on my copy of The Beatles "Get Back To Toronto".
I have had dogs ever since.

yeah...I'll clean up the vinyl and keep them in generic sleeves. It just gets me pissed-off (pun intended) when I lose the cover. The cover is half the value imo.

Saw the title and thought oh, no, but maybe it's some odd ball record label. Sorry to hear it's not a label.

I understand that there are cleaning products on the market made especially for cleaning pet urine. Also, check out this link, it may help. http://www.lifescript.com/well-being/articles/h/how_to_clean_pet_urine_in_the_home.aspx
