At risk of seeming pedantic (and FWIW), these records are by JEB and Cousin Easy, as with this example: http://www.45cat.com/record/nc687866us ... not intended for radio broadcast.

Very cool wurlitzer1450!

Love that song!

I am in the middle of documenting online my record collection. I have over 5000 45rpm and many of them are novelty. I am notating the ones that are novelties so I can locate them and give out lists Smile

Oh, I got a couple Ruth Wallis 45's as well. Davey's Dinghy and The Admiral's Daughter on nice clean red vinyl. One is in the original Wallis sleeve Smile

I was unable to view the list. Gave me a connection error. Hmm..

If you're interested, he is the list of my collection put up thus far. I have been working on it for over a year.

Some impressive lists, gentlemen. I collect novelty records on the rare occasion that they turn up. That Brian dude has quite the collection!

Webkrawlerr, I've never heard of collectorz.com before. Is it a pretty good site to use for a personal discography?

Many german singers did coverversions of well known british and american songs in the 50s and 60s - sung in german.

The german lyrics are very funny sometimes, the fit on the melody, but the meaning is in some cases completly different.

One example: "I feel so bad" (Elvis) was covered by Harry Glück as "Ich find' kein Bett" (I can find no bed) Laughing
