I started to use an excel based spreedsheet, because as my collection became larger, I could add to it as I need to. The records are grouped by label, record number, artist, and titles. Since I only collect dance bands and hot Jazz, and side with a waltz on it, was left blank, and only the foxtrots sides were mentioned, Attached is an example of my catalog.

I would recommend adding a column for the date of the record. Feel free to email me if you need help. I can help date US & UK 78's from a number of sources.

If you actually own these records, other collectors would GREATLY desire to know matrix numbers (which are written in the dead wax after the record grooves end before the needle hits the label).

All the best,

Andy
