Havenít posted here in quite a while because I havenít been out hunting records (for a number of reasons with which I will not bore you). However, a musician friend of mine came into town last week so we could do a little playing and he uttered those 6 words everyone loves to hear, ďHey do you want my records?Ē
Of course I had to say hell yes! Cool So as I slowly go through them, cleaning, listening, etc. Iíll list the more interesting ones.

Iíll start with Al Cohn - The Natural Seven on RCA Victor.
I really like this record, the Basie alumni, including Freddie Green, really have it swinging!

Next Frankie Laine with Buck Clayton And His Orchestra on Columbia.
Laine was not exactly a jazz singer, but to me this record works. It would probably be hard not to sound cool with Buck Clayton's band backing you! Cool

Thanks Falk, I told him he had a lot of good listening here and should just pick up another turntable, but he said he was just happy they got a good home and that he could visit them Very Happy

Lee Morgan- The Sidewinder, Mono Ny press !!!! Has been well loved but plays nicely. Kicker is that I paid a whole $2..... Shocked
