An old friend of mine started a new record selling venture called the Record Truck. Basically a mobile record store housed in what I guess would derisively be called the short bus. Anyways, picked some cool records up in a trade with hime. Some of the standouts:

The Reporters "Office Staff" EP on Clogg Town Records (UK) from 1981
Never heard of these guys before and don't know much about them, but the title song sold me on it. Reminds me of something that would of come out of Ireland like the Outsiders or something. Nice to find something from back then I was totally unaware of.

Alternative TV - "Life After Life" 7" on Deptford Fun City (UK) from 1977

Sex Pistols - "Pretty Vacant / L' Anarcjie Pour Le UK" on Virgin (Germany) from 1983.
This is the one with the picture sleeve taken from a movie still of a German movie called film Klassen Feind.

Wild Giraffes - "Love Me / When I Find Out" on Neck Reckords (US) from 1978
Another one I wasn't familiar with. From Ohio. When i Found Out is what made this a keeper for me.

Picked up some new rekids at the record store:

Rollins Band - Do It
Stranglers - Rattus Norvegicus

Got the Starnglers spinning right now. Great LP.

From a garage sale:
Butzmann & Sanja: Waschsalon Berlin (Marat)
Marat was a sub-label of Zensor. Not exactly punk, but a seminal 3 track 7" at 33 rpm of avantgarde, when everything was possible in Berln's early punk days. Frieder Butzmann made some great records in the 1980s but seems to have disappeared after.

These were RSD purchases ($1 each/cheap!), though not RSD releases ... some of them may be alternative, thrash or hardcore (or not; in all candor I am not familiar with the various sub-genres), but all are 7-inch and have picture sleeves/covers or inserts:
Ciao Bella Sink // Old school digital watch (100 Guitar Mania 100GM-38, colored vinyl)
A.P.P.L.E. Neither Victims Nor Executioners Vol. Two (Broken Rekids Skip Six)
On Life Learn To Live // Stand Up Live To Learn (CI Records [ 9006X50 ])
Load Pastor's Day // Saving You From Your Life / Half Bake (Faceless Wreckerds, colored vinyl)
Ground Round Lakeport // Just Another Day (Hyperactive Kids Records [ ADD-01 ], colored vinyl)
Blood Of Others Blood Of Others // D.S.-13 swedish punks hate aussie wankers (unknown)
Turnkey king mark // 2 (Titanic Records TIRE 005)
Be My Doppelganger Convertible Girls // 1. Ten Seconds To Go 2. No AC (Bitchin' Riffage! BRF004, colored vinyl)
unknown Neutron Dracula // Black Beam Dub (Crappy Nightmareville [ CN04 ])
unknown Nautilus // Bionic Pet Sounds (Crappy Nightmareville [ CN-05 ])
Manumission Binary Lung (Ebullition [ EBULLITION #12 ])
Frantic Bend Identity / Loop // Channel (Frantic Bend [ L-41561 / U-37251M], colored vinyl)

Cool finds. Anything from the Stranglers thru, say, '85 is a must.
And I found lotsa Heartbreakers back in the day, on funky labels like Jungle (UK). Johnny rocks.

Yeah Davey, been on a Stranglers kick this year. Awesome stuff.

Today's find: New York Dolls - s/t. Been digging Thunders lately too.

From a record fair for a hefty 20 :
The Undertones: Anthology - a 15 track yellow vinyl bootleg LP on the Def Tones label of "previously unreleased live & demos".
All the tracks seem to come from the legal double CD with the same title ... duh!
