Great find Fireflite! I have lots of Lowell Fulson 78s but I've never run across one on the Big Town label! Very nice!

Louisiana Red and his Chicago Blues Friends: Boy from Black Bayou (Tribute to Muddy Waters) - L + R Records 42.055

What's Red got to do with a black bayou? What is a black bayou anyway? Also there's not a single Muddy song on this German LP from 1983- but a big Muddy pic on the front cover and a photo of Red and Muddy arm in arm on the back. Great Music though with sidemen Jimmy Rogers, Carey Bell, Lovie Lee, Larry Exum and Earl Howell. Recorded in Chicago.

Or Louisiana for that matter? He's from Alabama. Wink

A park and wild life refuge near Monroe LA

Rogers played extensively w/ Waters from the late 40s-70s Carey Bell and Lovie Lee on a few tracks here and there. Muddy passed away in April of '83.
