Well today is a sad day for all music lovers. Johnny Cash passed away in Nashville early on September 12, 2003 at the age of 71. His genius will not be forgotten. It will live forever in wax. What a man.

Johnny Cash is arguably the greatest American music icon. No one epitomizes the musical heart of America like he does. It is truly a sad day. My daughter and I will be in front of my turntable all evening long.

Yes...and John Ritter right after him. Not a musician but came into everyone's living room for years and left an indelible impact on many lives. Tender age of 55! Ouch!

actually JOhn Ritter is really getting to me. Everytime I would to make a tribute to Johnny someone would make some stupid comment about Ritter, too. He took away from Cash's day.
