I am not much of a classical person, so I need some help in locating this piece. I would like it on lp and I can't find it with the limited info I have. Does this movement belong to another piece which would make it easier to find? Any help would be appreciated and sorry for my lack of knowledge in this genre...

For what instrument is this Concerto. Vivaldi composed hundreds of concertos so instrumentation is crucial.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...but let me give it a shot anyway. Very Happy

I think that you are probably looking for this: Violin Concerto, for violin, strings & continuo in A minor ("L'estro armonico" No. 6), Op. 3/6, RV 356. If it is, the problem is that the concerto is a little over 8 minutes long so it's usually combined with something else.

This concerto appears on an LP by Itzhak Perlman. There is one for sale on eBay here. (1st item) This recordsing is also available on CD. Amazon.com probably has clips of the Perlman CD if you want to hear what the concerto sounds like. Hope this helps.
