Any nominees for this? I know of a local dealer who was starting to compile a factory sleeve guide but never followed through with it. His rarest is a Rama sleeve which is on display in his shop. My personal best is the Capitol Records "Hot Stuff" promotional sleeve but I've seen a couple other copies of this, too.

If the dealer's name is Rocky, then I don't believe he'll ever get the time for the guide.

Here are a couple of those Capitol sleeves that came with promo copies of the 45. My rarest factory sleeve is from the Bihari's stable. Either my Modern or Flair sleeve. I've had both the Rama and Gee sleeves, but was talked out them years ago before factory sleeves became fashionable.

I see your Rush sleeve, and raise you a Billboard Spotlight Pick sleeve.

The Spotlight pick sleeve came with a red-label promo copy of Capitol 4259, Tommy Sands' "I'll Be Seeing You"/"That's The Way I Am". I got 2 copies of this 45 -- one of them has "I'll Be Seeing You" on both sides. Billboard regularly published reviews of new LPs and singles, and marked releases deemed particularly noteworthy with a "Spotlight Pick" or "Billboard Pick" symbol.

I'm sure this Counterpart sleeve isn't among the rarest, but it looks pretty cool.

A dealer I've been buying from since the early 1980s knows I collect mint company sleeves, so he sets them aside for me when he gets them. I got this one from him years ago, so I bought the 45 from another seller just so I could put it with the sleeve. I don't really care for the song, but the record/sleeve combination really looks great.

Well, forget the scan. I've tried adding an attachment to my posts several times in the past, but I've never been successful at it. It's a miracle that I've been able to add photos to my eBay auctions.

Here in the Midwest, the Soma sleeve turns up on occasion - "scarce" but not rare. The Jewel / Paula / Ronn sleeve is a little more common - I see this every once in a while. I know someone who could tell me which labels got the Allied sleeve - again, it turns up because few people are sure which labels match it. I've only ever seen one Aladdin sleeve - that's a toughie. Another obscurity is New Phoenix out of Hartford, WI - only saw one of those, too (too bad the record was lame, otherwise I would've kept it), as was Mono Records also from Hartford (but that was mostly a polka label, so who cares).

Each of these is the lone example I've found im my area. Shows to go ya, what's rare in MD ain't so rare in WI.
