Final photo. There was more 1930s stuff and also some post WW II records, Roy Acuff, Bill Monroe, Cowboy Copas, and a handful of Pop.

I enjoy looking at these, thanks for taking time to post! Nice stuff in there!
I have a few of them like the Leake county 78, When the Roses Bloom Again, Mac and Bob, and a couple others.
I'd like to have that de ford bailey, georgia yellowhammers, henry whitter, and of coarse the Carter Family/Jimmie Rodgers...I have a good bit of each but none of the sides you posted. Even the Gene Autry from this period is pretty good imo, sounds a lot like Jimmie Rodgers.
Keep me in mind on resale Wink

I've been playing a bunch of these and transferring to WAV files, to use in producing my "Old Time" radio show. I just love this old 'hillbilly' music. The two harmonica solo records are great. It's so nice to find them in such great condition, usually this type of record is nearly destroyed from repeated playback on wind up acoustic machines and general abuse.

There's another 1,000+ 78s waiting for me to haul back to my house. I hoping to discover some more gems in the lot.

I bought a large collection over the weekend.

Great stuff, love those Carter Family's. I've actually got at least four or five of the titles you posted there (small world, ain't it?).

Extremely nice batch of old time hillbilly 78s! Love the Romeo and Montgomery Ward labels. With pics like these if I had the guy's address I'd drive to Wyoming and get the rest of them before you do! I can't wait to hear what else you find in this collection!

1927 Columbia 1011-D Lee Morse, "Where the Wild, Wild Flowers Grow" and "I'd Love to be in Love"

I have some Sam Lanin, Paul Whiteman and too many more to list unless anyone is interested.
