Anyone hear of this price guide?

A friend of mine says that it's the best one out there. Though, it is kind of pricey.

I have a few editions of this and like them. I always thought that they were good because they have 45's and lp's listed.

I prefer the Goldmine type as they list each release on its own line. Rockin' Records gives ranges of prices and combines releases on labels. They are able to cover more ground this way, but it's a preference. You can see examples online.

If you ever decide to invest in a kindle, the 2010 edition of Rockin' Records is on there for $9.99

You're much more likely to find an obscure 45 or LP in Rockin' Records than in any other guide. It is pricey--I buy one every other year. Specialized guides for Jazz, rockabilly and garage are also useful. A Kindle loaded with RR would be very useful. I'm checking into that...

I can't recommend the kindle version, now that I've tried it. The formatting is terrible, and the entries are jumbled together.

I'm a little late to this party as I see the last post was in March 2011. My two cent: I have subscribed to Rockin' Records' Cyberguide for the past three years. The beauty is the guide is updated weekly via e-mail in MS Word format. It is a little pricey as it costs $30 every six months ($5.00 per month) U.S. I find it is well worth it. They are very user friendly. When I find a release that is not listed, I scan the label and send it to them. In most cases, it is in the updated guide within a fortnight.

Though a little late, a good post. Thanks!
