Maybe one that should be in the Picture Discs section, but it seems more at home here Smile
These were 2 models (Nina Carter & Jilly Johnson) that were more usually known for posing topless in one of the daily papers in the UK - The cover, is of course, duff, but hey, who cares! Very Happy

This time I wanna introduce a Swedish artist to you, she differs from the average female singers by her distinctive husky voice.

      Mrs. Anita Lindblom:

'Jag lever för dej' ['Only for You I live'] (SE Fontana 7-inch mono E. P. - 466 264 TE, 1963)

I discovered this lady by coincidence, when a collector mate gave me one of her singles. Immediately I was spellbound by her voice, since then I added more of her releases continuously. She recorded an unbelievable cover version of J. Davenport & E. Cooley's 'Fever' sung in German, one of my all time most loved tunes.

I guess it's time to add one more beauty to this section. She was one of the first girls, which I realized as beautiful and fell in innocent pre-teenage love with.

      Let me introduce to you:

She was an actress as well as a singer of the "easy listening" genre. There were times, when I resolutely reneged this part of my music-listening history. Decades later, when I became independent of these childish attitude, it took me a lot of time and of course some money to get her records for my collection of remarkable women in music biz.

Single front cover 1961 - 'Sieh mal an' (Lo and behold!)- autograph printed
Movie promo card 1958 - original autographed
