I'm going to Arizona for vacation in a few weeks - can anyone recommend any vinyl shops? I'll be on the Phoenix/Scottsdale area most of the time, with possibly a visit to Sedona and/or Flagstaff if there's time. Thanks!

Tracks in Wax on Central, just south of Camelback. (Phoenix)
Great shop.

I also usually pop into one of the Zia records if I pass them.

I haven't seen anyone mention Rockzone. They have a good selection, and reasonable prices. They're on University right next to the 101 in Tempe.

Ultimately we went to Revolver on 2nd St and dropped a fortune on cool New Wave we'd never find at home in NY. also found some overpriced LPs at a used book store chain that I can't remember the name of.

I am going to Phoenix again for Christmas. Previously, I went to a couple of record stores, one in Chandler and the other in Tempe near ASU - forget names of the stores. But, I will look out for the other stores mentioned.

I will be in Arizona next week:

Can anyone recommend records stores in Tucson, I see that Twist and Shout has closed, I wonder what others are worth a visit.

Also, I will be mostly in Phoenix, so any recommended record stores or thrifts would be great?

Thanks

Brendan, Don't have the addresses handy, but the current players are: Revolver downtown Phx, Revolver Tempe, Record Room Scottsdale, Stinkweeds central Phx, possibly Trax in Wax right around the corner from Stinkweeds, though I haven't been there in a while. Also heard about a new shop Guitar Tree on east Osborn. Some other junk/thrift shops on the curve at 7th avenue. Good Luck!

I would set your priorities to Revolver and Record Room, those are the real action stores.
