Rare 12" Version From Sweden
With Special Guest: Johnny Thunders

Go To Item Listing

VG++/VG++ (Record/Cover)

The Nomads
"Fire And Brimstone"

Amigo AMMS 503
EP Released in 1989

A bonefide rarity from legends of the garage punk genre. This was a relatively early release for them, considering they're still putting out albums today. And this copy is from the scarce 12" pressing, not the more common 7". A beautiful original pressing, made in Sweden. Very, very hard to find. Features guest guitar work on one track from the great Johnny Thunders of The New York Dolls.

Tracks:
A Fire And Brimstone
B2 Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls
B3 Solitary Confinement

The record grades to VG++ with very little evidence that it's ever been played, and many would call it NM-. The cover is VG++ with light signs of storage and a couple of corner bumps, with nice artwork and no splits, tears, stickers or stains.

A beautiful rarity! Click on the image above, or browse our store at:

Hard To Find Vinyl Version
With LP-Only Bonus Track

NM-/VG++ (Record/Cover)

Boss Martians
"Making The Rounds"

Dionysus Records ID 23399
LP Released in 2002

These guys were a main fixture in the lo-fi scene for 20 years, blending classic surf with modern fuzzy garage rock. This is a rarely seen LP, put out by the great roots label Dionysus. Moving through the garage rock sub-genres of Beat and Mod, this album moves beyond the twangy surf of their youth and into a mature muti-faceted and finely-tuned sound. Track B7 is exclusive to this vinyl version, and was not included on the CD release.

Tracks:
A1 Making The Rounds
A2 She Moves Me
A3 Feel It Like Everyone
A4 She Was The One
A5 Something's There
A6 Dreaming In Stereo
B1 Put Some Hurt On You
B2 Heard What You Said
B3 Amx
B4 My Love Ain't Free
B5 Gold Diggin'
B6 Every Girl In Town
B7 Said & Done

The record grades to NM- with only the slightest evidence that it's ever been played. The cover is VG++ with only a couple small corner bumps and no other sign of storage or handling, with bright artwork and no splits, tears, stickers, stains or creases.

The Sad And Lonelys
Self-Titled

Super Electro Sound Recordings SUPER 01
LP Released in 1991

This is a hard to find piece from the early days of the Seattle sound. Features Steve Turner from Mudhoney (as well as from The Fall Outs, Monkeywrench, Green River, The Thrown-Ups, etc.). This is from the original first pressing on Turner's own label with no barcode on the back and is STILL FACTORY SEALED. A sticker on the cover denotes it as colored vinyl, and the different known colors are marbled red, marbled green and semi transparent turquoise; we can't determine which one this is, but it's certain to look beautiful! This is actually the very first release for Super Electro Sound Recordings, and the label went on to release a lot of limited edition singles and LPs for the Seattle scene. Includes a couple of guest appearances by Dan Peters, of Mudhoney & Screaming Trees.

Tracks:
A1 Might
A2 Accident
A3 The Logger
A4 You're A Pain
A5 Steve LaRose

B5 Statue Of Liberty
B6 Chip Away The Stone
B7 Good On Ya Baby
B8 Live Fast Love Hard Die Young

The grade of the record is NM- with just one very light surface-only mark on each side that does not affect play. The cover is VG++ with a couple of small corner bumps and very light sign of storage, with bright artwork and no splits, tears, stains or stickers. The inner sleeve is NM and looks untouched. A fantastic copy all the way around.
