PRO 1-3328

I have a couple copies of this promo.
Is it common and worth maybe a cup of coffee?

Features: Traveling Wilburys, James Ingram, Apollonia, Daniel Lanois, Pee-Wee Herman, ZZ Top, Bulletboys, Lou Reed, Throwing Muses, Randy Travis and more.

I've been still trying to find out more about this LP.

I noticed that Gardner Cole was one of the artists on the LP.

I am friends with Gardner and sent him an email to find out more about this. He said the LP is rare, it was an industry only issue and not that many were pressed.

I emailed him back to find out if he knew how many?

Waiting on a reply, if I don't get one soon I'll call.

...but what do you guys know about this LP?

Thanks

IMO it is "thrift shop common" ... at least, that's where I found my copy (I was mainly excited at the time that both LPs were present and in excellent condition). BTW, the title is actually "Winter Warnerland".

Well then, I'll just keep it as it is kind of cool... but I might try to sell a copy around Christmas time.

These were sent out to radio station and club DJ's in '88. I believe this is the second year for such a promo from Warner Bros. Amazon has them listed from $20.00 - $353.00! $25.00 is about right.

Another album of a similar nature is Epic records "Holiday Greetings" from '88 as well.

I never sold it during Christmas... in fact I didn't really sell many of my LP's at all.
I'm not looking to sell...

Sounding good, too - I like the holiday greetings between tracks. A similar compilation on Warner Bros. is "Yulesville".
