Have you heard about the new DOA news: they're splitting up (again) so Joey can run for a Representative position in government. No Lie.

Yea, I heard that, and the weekend they are rolling through here I am working night shift with almost no possibility of getting out of it. Though, as you hinted at, this isn't their first final tour if I recall right. But still would like to make it somehow. I last saw them a few years back and Joey had Randy Rampage back and playing as a three piece. One of the better DOA shows I had seen in a long time.

Shannon & The Clams - "The Power" off the split 7" with Grass Widow from this year on Wacky Wacko.

Yes, it's that "The Power" song, the pop/dance hit of the 90's. And yes it's that Shannon & the Clams, not what I would usually refer to as a punk band. But their deconstruction of this song is pretty primitive and raw if not a bit tongue in cheek.

DOA is coming through town on their "final" tour.

I think it's a requirment to go if one cares at all about their punk street cred haha.

Surprised they're playing such a small venue here.

Cool GenX Savage.

I'm listening to Discordance Axis / Capitalist Casualties ‎split 7". Brutal blast.
