Odd thrift find, since it's from 2005:

I recently picked up two large collections. I will start with the Heavy Metal. My strategy was if I hadn't heard of the band- I should get it. So, here are about 28 bands I've never heard of-lol. Definitely some cool imports, labels, and covers.

Accept
White Tiger
Wrath
London
Mass
Sword
Thrasher
Anthem
White Wolf
Bonfire
Diamond Rexx
Rio
Hellstar
Damian
Picture
Udo
Agony
Onslaught
Bodine
The Rods
Legs Diamond
Vyper
Annihilator
Pandamonium
SYE
Dissilusion
EZO

Matt, The Rods are great Raunch and Roll. I have quite a pile of their stuff since I knew Dave and Carl real well, most of these came from Dave

I have Let Them Eat Metal and The Rods Live sealed also, Just Need Rock Hard, I have the alternate Hard Rock as seen in the image

Wild Dogs is without a doubt their best lp

Very nice Ron. I like the cover of the Cerberus looking dogs. Very apropos for heavy metal. I'll post part two of my haul tomorrow.

Not sure where the old thread went, so I'll post this here. With all the vultures (people who literally camp in the middle of the store all day to scoop stuff up right as it comes out of the back room) at the thrift stores these days, it's hard for me to find anything anymore. It was nothing short of a miracle that I found this the other day at a thrift by my wife's work. It actually had made it out to the shelf too! Maybe the high (for a thrift) price scared a lot of people away. If it were at a store on the other end of town, it would have been snatched up in an instant!

Earlier in the week the UPS man showed up with these. I'd ordered
the first 6 Sabbath Rhino vinyl pressings back in September from
popmarket.com in one of their 'bundle package deals'. One month,
two months, nothing. Three, four, just generic replies from customer
service. Finally on the five month anniversary of my order I contacted
the CEO of the company and cc'd the CEO of Sony Music, their parent
company. Within 15 minutes I got a reply from a lacky saying they
were sorry for my wait, but didn't have the first Sabbath album in stock
which was holding up all the bundle shipments. However they'll make
it up to me by sending these five albums at no cost.

Like Colonel Hans Landa once said "THAT'S A BINGO!"
