My guess is 6.(It`sA) Long Lonely Highway should be (It`s A) Long Lonely Highway.

no the matrix numbers when printed on Decca pressed labels are usually upside down. I always check to see if the label matrix and run off ones match. So far they always do,

Alright, on that one, Frankfurt is misspelt.

Very interesting, any ideas why they printed the numbers upside down? Maybe to differentiate from the catalog number?

not sure why, will have to do some googling. also noted the M/T tax code on the label, this is for 1963 which shows they were using old templates for the label. Should be KT.

JIMBOO

I could argue that the real mistake was Elvis recording the five songs that appear before "Long Lonely Highway."

"Highway" was a minor track that I always dug from the day I bought it way back in the 60s. Always thought that it would have made a good B-side to say, oh, the actual B-side of the single from this album.
