A game for any random and interesting tidbits of trivia, as long as it relates to the world of records: the format, musicians, labels, studios, producers, clubs, regional scenes, and the like are all fair game. Hopefully, this won't devolve into a "stump the chump" scenario, but a fun way to share all the little interesting factoids we encounter as music nerds. The winner posts the next question, and consider posting hints if it's been a few days with no correct answer. I'll kick it off with something easy:

Name 5 RCA sublabels or imprints.

What's a city in New Jersey,
a part of the population of a certain area of England,
a record label associated with a spiffy looking dog,
the former name of my TV and internet provider,
and that really long scratch intentionally cut into a record. whew....

Eric Clapton did a few songs with Phil Collins, didn't he? He did that Wish It Would Rain song I know, but I thought he was on other Phil Collins tracks too.

:: Back in 1989 Clapton released 'Journeyman' that had 3 singles: "No Alibis", "Pretending" and Phil Collins collaboration " Bad Love" that won a grammy for best male rock performance...hands down, my favourite Clapton song ever. You can hear the distinctive drum patterns of Collins and the background vocals are outstanding!

Here it is:

Cool
