Hello all

Looking for a little help on vinyl i have its a Michael Jackson Thriller LP sealed

Cat. No QE 38112 so i can tell it's a US Vinyl

But on the back cover Michael jackson is not listed as Co producer

Any i see for sale on line have Michael jackson listed as the co producer.

Can any one guide me in why copies have been released this way.
Also would anyone has an estimate of value for a copy like this.

Cheers
Lynda

i can get those wholesale, still sealed... for very little.

a few bucks, shipped. they also have other pressings, and releases of his on one of the distribution lists i have access to.

i don't order M Jackson all that much for the retail store, because my customer base makes fun of him.

that is my experience with that record.

they didn't make five of those. they made about fifty bazillion.

unrare, still available at wholesale = little or no value.

There are plenty of copies without listing MJ as co-producer so it really makes little difference to value.

Sealed copies are all over the map on ebay, just check completed listings to get an idea.

Earlier copies did not have MJ listed as co producer, not rare at all or anything like that, but just a sign that its an earlier pressing

Sealed copies of Thriller recently have gone for anywhere between 12 and 177 dollars, with most selling in the 30 to 45 dollar range.

my customers would not spend that much on a micheal jackson record locally.

the internet, might be the place to sell it.

Doesn't matter if it's rare or if discerning collectors turn their noses up when they hear about it - in sealed condition it's worth about 30 bucks.

And, yeah, the internet is the place to sell anything where the goal is to get the most possible money for it.

Where were you and that record when he died?
