that makes sense, the new chevelle came out about that time. i ordered a 350 H P 327 2 door station wagon [1964] but never did get it, they wouldn't supply the 4:56 posi rear end with it.

in the cheapest 2 door wagon with 350 hp 327 with 4:56 posi-traction, 4 speed close ratio trans, heater and radio delete? i was planning on hauling alright, later on i realized back then you had to pay the salesman a little extra cash to get something high performance in 1963. most dealers wouldn't sell anything like this back then. this wagon would have cost about 2400 dollars new in 1963.
