I bought The Big Brother and Holding Company's Cheap Thrills album at the weekend and have discovered that side 1 has a totally different pressing. The pressing on side 1 is by 'Ken Griffin - Lets have a Party' quite a difference from Psych!

I've tried looking at various blogs etc but can't find any information on a bad pressing.

The Cat number is CBS 32004 UK

Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks in advance!

Mispressed records are much more common than one might think. My understanding is they usually don't have much value unless it's a big name collectible artist like the Beatles or Elvis.

"chewy" I didn't know Big Brother was Psych. I'll have to check them out...

Perhaps so, but more like " Psych-Chotic " in 1968-1969 ( I wasn't around in 1965-66-or 67 )

My old desert friend Jim Gurley didn't put all of that ' acid ' in his car battery, but you could always find a warm reception and cold beer.

Django and Hongo, you had a great dad, and I too mourned his loss ( 2009 )
What a great family!

{ Too bad the same can't be said for Mainstream and Columbia Records }

Long live Big Brother......Long live Red Robin and The Worms!
