Does anyone have information on Ethnic Folkways Records? I can't find any sales on Ebay, etc. These are titles such as:

"Traditional Women's Music from Ghana"
"Music of the Haut Oyapok"

I don't think these were mass-produced, so it seems they would be somewhat rare, but ???

"Traditional Women's Music from Ghana" has sold for $25 in the past, some others on this label get good money. The Haiti and South American stuff are sought after. So freaky voodoo seems to be the name of the game.

Yep. And it's in different colors. A lot of that stuff can sell if you get it at the right price.
I think I could get good money for clean copies from a local shop, and flip the heavies on the Bay.

good find vinylhound, i suspect the price some were willing to pay for this lp wasn't for it's musical content. Laughing

Never see folkways often this side of the Atlantic.
