You beat me to it, geo - I was just going to say the same thing! Maybe it's one of those cheapo Post compilation albums, where they squeeze a three-minute track into a 1/8" wide band.

I hope so - Kermit used more re-creations of bloopers than he did original recordings and on the Kapp (later reissued on MCA) version he even dubbed in laugh tracks - a HORRIBLE job.
I'd like to think the specs are made from one of those "classical masterpiece" albums they used to hawk on TV - no former Contemporary music collection is complete without one...and believe me, I've seen the remnants of a LOT of them.
