Sometimes when I am out at a thrift store or a flea market, I come across records with names like

"Blow me (you hardly even know me)", "Doughnut Song" and "Peter the meter reader"..

To me it's woth the 50 cents or buck just find out what the heck the song is. Sometimes they are side splitting and sometimes I pout because I watsed a dollar on nothing...LOL..

But it's fun.

I must have like 50 novelty 45's in my collection.

The "I-95 A**hole Song" is one of my favorites.

I agree with the I-95 song. It's great. If you can ever find it, grab a copy of the Garden Song by Philthy McNasty---one of the grossest 45's ever!

I sure will.

One of the grossests ones I have is "I want my baby back" by
Jimmy Cross.

I have it on the original 45rpm (NM).

The song has appeared on Dr. Demento albums as well as
Rhino's "The Worlds Worst Records Volume II"

Any idea of the value of that little 45?

This is actually somewhat of an answer song to Mark Dinning's "Teen Angel" where the singer climbs into the coffin of his deceased girlfriend who died in a car accident..
Great novelty item though not much in the $$$ category...about $8.00-$10.00 in NM condition.

Another novelty track: "The Water Was Red" by Johnny Cymbal. About a man & his girlfriend go on a moonlight Swim and she get taken by a shark. Another is "My voice Keeps Changing On My" by Jack Clement. The title speaks for itself.
