hey trykome,
Yes it does have First records on the cover and on the record. Hey can you help me with the other record too. It is Parsley, Sage, etc.. It is Crowne Records CR-3018. The vinyl is green and VG+. It seems to be an import from the same as the other record. It is rare or worth anything
Thanks,
Trevor

These records were mfd. and intended for sale in Taiwan. At a guess, many were brought to the USA by returning servicemen during the Viet Nam war years. IMO they are generally not particularly rare or 'worth' anything, other than as curiosities. As a suggestion, you might search ebay's completed auctions for your titles to see if any have sold in the past month. You might also browse other threads in this forum for similar Taiwanese issues.

I have a Mama's and the Papas: Deliver album. It's on the First label (FL-1458). It's an Orange Vinyl disc.

I also have a Dean Martin: Door Is Still Open To My Heart album. On Liming Label (LM 2037) also on Orange Vinyl.

Anyone have any ideas about these? any info and pricing would be much appreciated as I have found no info on them at all. Been searching on and off for a couple of weeks now.

Thanks in advance.

Ben.

First label is a Taiwan (not Thailand) issue, not (originally) intended to be sold outside that country. I suspect your Liming Dean Martin is also a Taiwan release. Generally, these albums have 'value' as curiosities.

Liming is like First a Taiwanese Label - I am still not sure whether both labels were legit and just limited to their hoimecountry or whether they were counterfeiing / pirating material..

I have 2 different albums fom the First label The Hardtimes "Blew Mind" orange vinyl and The 5th Dimension " Age of Aquarius" Both have the real super thin plastic cover the First Label seems to be a mystery label I took my 5th dimension into my local record store and the guru of vinyl there had only seen a couple of different records on this label one of them being THe Hardtimes record that I bought. It would be interesting to find out what the main objective of this label is there anyway we can find out ??????? I have seen some on ebay but thats about it no other info on this label that i have seen if anyone has any info please hook us up with a link or some type of info

I found this weird album stuffed in box full of junk records....it comes in a plastic sleeve with a paper insert.....contains alot of writing in japanese i'm guessing.....the songs are in english .....the "lyrics" are rather comical to read because they sound like a foreign person trying to translate..."engrish" if you will................any ideas whatsoever on this?

Not Japanese, but Chinese. Tong Sheng is either a Hong Kong or Taiwan label. The record was produced for the local market. Since both locations were R'n'R destinations for US troops posted in Viet Nam, these records likely made their way to the USA as souvenirs, which perhaps explains the English translations.
